GREAT   is the Lord, and most worthy of praise, in the city of our God,

his Holy Mountain.  (Ps.48:1)……So, Praise Him.

God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. (Ps.46:1)

On a day when there is no one around to help. You get timely help.

I lift up my eyes to the hills where does my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth. (Ps.121:1)

Look up to Him and He will help you.

You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,

Nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that

destroys at midday. (Ps.91:5)       …  To lose all your fears …

Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone

to devour.  Resist him standing firm in the faith. (1Pe.5:8&9)

The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you

will be defeated before you.  They will come at you from one direction

but flee from you in seven. (Deut.28:8)

To boldly face enemies or any eventuality

The Lord will keep you from all harm – He will watch over your life;

The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.


Life is safe in His hands, so

…Start your day with a prayer.


You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. (Deut.28:3)

Yes, be confident – OUR GOD is a good God.  He will bless.

In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat – for He grants

Sleep to those he loves. (Ps. 127:2)

Thank Him, his mercy endures forever.  To get a good night’s sleep,

Because of the Lord’s great love, we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail.

They are new every morning; (La.3:23)


GREAT is His faithfulness, therefore, my beloved, praise Him.

‘Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight …’
